If you are tired of searching for the method to install Google Play Store on Firestick then you came to the right place. In this article, we are going to talk about the installation process of the famous App Store. It is because if you are a hard-core lover of Android then you have probably missed this service in Amazon FireTV.
Instead of this many people have purchased services on Google Play that they are unable to use with the Amazon App Store. This is why I saw many people asking about getting this app store on Fire TV Stick. But unfortunately, as I have figured there is no such guide that provides proper steps.
This is the reason why I thought to write a whole guide for my visitors so they can get their subscription back with this streaming device. However, to learn the whole process I would simply recommend reading this article until the end as if you miss anything you might not be able to install it and end up having some issues.
Even though you will also get some other guides as well as fixing this app cannot be used with Play Service. Instead of this, I will share a method for apps from mobile to Fire TV. For this, you simply need to stick with me until the end so you get all these informational guides.
Install Google Play Store on Firestick
No wonder Google Play Store on Firestick is not available because they have their own store called Amazon App Store. But the problem is that the Store has fewer apps as compared to Google Store. Furthermore, people who purchased the subscriptions or bought any app cannot install it because of two different stores.
This is why installing this Store is mandatory for many people and that’s why I was also looking for a method to get this on my device. But now we have an option to get Google Play on Firestick just by sideloading it on our device and then you are ready to use it as the normal app store.
However to sideload 3rd-party apps no doubt you will be required to enable the installation of Unknown Source. So, if you haven’t done it yet then, first of all, you should read this article: Enable Apps from Unknown Source on Fire TV Stick
Once you are done with that guide now we need to install an app known as Downloader. This is the only app that is used to download 3rd-party apps and help us to sideload them. Before that ES File Explorer was used but then they make sideloading premium feature that’s why we are using Downloader.
It is the best application that works as a Download Manager and even it comes with a built-in web browser. This browser is not as good as Silk Browser or Google Chrome but still, you can use it to search for anything you want.
Also, I have listed some of the best Browsers for firestick that you may like. As these are compatible with remote and can be used to surf the internet, watch website-based content and download Movies as well.
Ok, so without wasting any further time let’s check these steps to install the Google Play store on Firestick:
First, close the apps you are using and then from the above menu select Apps.
After going there click on the Categories under the sub-menu.
This will show all available categories just scroll down and then open Utilities.
From here you simply need to find the Downloader and open it (this will be listed at the top).
After this, you just need to click on the Download (You Own It) button and the app will be started downloading.
Just wait for a while until the app is downloaded and once it is installed just select Open to launch it.
When you launch Downloader for the first time a notification will appear to ask permission for accessing Photos, Media, Files just select Allow. After this, you will notice a Quick Tour Guide appears on the screen ignore this by selecting OK It.
At this time you will see a small box that appears there hover over it and then press select to Open Keyboard there.
Once you see the keyboard now type https://tvexpertguide.com/pstore and select the Go button to get this app.
After clicking you will see the Download Status on the screen just wait for a while until it downloads.
When the app is downloaded an installation window will appear so hover to Install and press the Select button.
The installation will only take a few seconds and you will see the App Installed, then just click Done (don’t open yet).
After selecting Done it shows the Downloader menu and status window, now click Delete from there. You will be asked for the confirmation so again click on the Delete button to remove the backup file.
Now please keep in mind that we have just installed Play Store on our device as we still need to install three more apps like Play Service, Account Manager & Google Framework to make this store workable.
For this, you just need to follow the same process to download the app but enter different URLs which I am providing below. Also, make sure to delete the backup file that we do in the 14 and 15 steps. This will help in saving device storage as if you run out of storage you may face buffering, blank screen and other issues.
Ok, so these are the URLs for the remaining three apps that you need to download:
https://tvexpertguide.com/pservices.apk to Download Google Play Services
https://tvexpertguide.com/acm.apk to download Google Account Manager
https://tvexpertguide.com/fw.apk to Download Google Play Framework
Once you have downloaded all four apps now just go back to the Home Screen on FireTV. Then scroll down to Your Apps & Channels and select See All. After this, you will find the Google Play Store listed at the bottom, move it to the front by hovering over the icon and pressing the Menu button on the remote.
At this time a menu will appear on the right-hand side to select Move To Front and the Google Play Store on Firestick will appear at the top. Now just launch this store and sign in with your Google Account to continue using this as without this you won’t be able to install any app.
Get Google Play Store Apps Using Apps2Fire
Now as we know that with the latest FireOS update Google Play Store on Firestick is not working anymore. However, I have shared the link for an alternative store named Aptoide TV. But even after using that you are unable to get the app, you are looking for then there is still another method.
In this section, we are going to use an app named as Apps2Fire which is available free on Google Play Store. With the help of this app, you can install any app installed on Mobile to the Firestick. It works pretty fine I also use this to sideload apps that I cannot find on the Amazon App Store.
Using this app is way easier than you think because you just need to enable ADB Debugging and have an IP address of FireTV. Once you have completed these steps you will be able to make a connection between mobile and stick. After that, you can simply select any app that you want to send to the Fire TV.
To learn more about how it works you can follow the steps given below:
1 First open Google Play Store on mobile and then type Apps2Fire and then click on the first result you see there.
2 After this tap on the Install button and wait until the app is downloaded and installed.
3 Once the app is installed just tap on the Open to launch it on your mobile.
4 Now let this app open and then from your FireTV go to Settings from the above menu.
5 From there move to the right side and then open My Fire TV.
6 At this time scroll down and select the Developer Options.
7 After this just hover over the ADB Debugging and toggle it from Off to On.
8 Now go back to the My Fire TV and at this time go to About.
9 From there scroll down and hover to the Network and then from the right side notice IP Address.
10 Using the Apps2Fire app select Set Up from the Top menu and then type the IP address that is shown on the TV and press the Save button.
Alternatively, you can connect to the same WiFi network and press Search Fire TVs and tap the name of the TV when appears.
11 Now Apps2Fire will try to connect and you will see an error message and then you will be asked to Allow ADB Debugging on TV. At this time select, the Always Allow from this computer and then select Ok to allow the connection between App & the Fire TV Stick.
12 Once your App is connected now from the above Menu go to the Local Apps and now tap on any app you want to install on FireTV.
13. At this time you just need to click on the Install button from there and wait until Apps2Fire sends back to the TV.
14 Now on the TV you will see the notification that App is Installed press the Menu button to launch it.
That’s it now the apk file is successfully installed on Firestick and by using the same process you can download other apps from Google Play Store and send them to FireTV. However, you may not find the app icon on the Home Screen so simply Go to Your Apps & Channels & select See All.
After going there scroll down and then you will find the app icon appears at the bottom. At this time hover over the app icon and press the menu button and select Move to from. Now the app will be moved to the Home Screen and you can easily launch it from there and enjoy using your favourite apps from Play Store to Firestick.
Fix “This App Won’t Run Without Google Play Services Which Are Not Supported By Your Device”
After following the above guide we simply learnt how to install Play Store apps and also learn a way to install Google Play Store on Firestick. - After installation select Done and then a downloader app will show status with 3 different options so click Delete.
- You will be again asked for the confirmation then simply click Delete again.

- Once both apps Google Play Store & Services are installed now from Fire TV go to Settings.
- From there move forward and select Applications and then open Manage Installed Apps.
- After this search for an app that shows that error and Clears App data.

As this is only helpful in fixing the “this app won’t run without Google Play Services which are not supported by your device” error.
